Esta é a terceira vez que
organizo e proponho uma grande mostra deste tipo.
Em 2012, com o “colectivo f4”,
recebemos por correio tradicional mais de 180 postais que deram origem a duas
exposições / instalação. Em 2018, foi a vez da “Galeria da Quinta do Ervedal”
receber novas participações na segunda edição deste projecto de correio, que
terminou com uma mostra entre 15 de Dezembro de 2018 e 22 de Fevereiro de 2019.
De forma a aumentar a
participação de autores e diversificar obras para a segunda edição da “Bienal
Quadrados” que se realizará em 2022, na “Galeria Geraldes da Silva” no Porto,
surgiu este grupo.
Até lá, é nosso objectivo editar
e lançar no próximo mês de Dezembro, um livro de 100 páginas com imagens das
obras recebidas, fazer o lançamento de um segundo livro em Dezembro de 2021, e
em 2022, expor todos os trabalhos numa instalação incluída na bienal.

postcard” project has already brought together 97 members and the publication
of 40 photographic images.

This is the third time that I organize and
propose a large exhibition of this type.
In 2012, with the “colectivo f4”, we received
over 180 postcards by traditional mail that gave rise to two exhibitions /
installations. In 2018, it was the turn of the “Quinta do Ervedal Gallery” to
receive new entries in the second edition of this mail project, which ended
with an exhibition between 15 December 2018 and 22 February 2019.
In order to increase the participation of
authors and diversify works for the second edition of the “Bienal Quadrados” to
be held in 2022, at the “Galeria Geraldes da Silva” in Porto, this group was
created.
Until then, our goal is to edit and launch next
December, a 100-page book with images of the works received, to launch a second
book in December 2021, and in 2022, to expose all the works in an installation
included in the biennial.
